Royal and Derngate: The Royal & Derngate sits at the heart of the quarter, a merger of the Royal Theatre and the Derngate Centre in the 1980s. The town’s original Royal Theatre - a rare designation, as opposed to the more common Theatre Royal - first opened on Marefair in 1806 and has been used as a repertory playhouse since 1927.

The Old Savoy: This beautiful Art Deco style, grade II listed, former cinema, with original 1000 seat auditorium, is now a theatre hosting a busy programme of music and shows.
