Rediscover Northampton
Let’s come together to support the businesses that make Northampton special, our popular attractions, and those hidden gems waiting to be discovered. From fresh local produce in the Market Square, to family businesses on Abington Street and cosy cafes throughout the Heritage Gateway – rediscover Northampton’s best kept secrets.
Explore attractions such as 78 Derngate, which has reopened to the public for pre-booked tours, sample delicious food from restaurants such as Saffron, who have gone above and beyond to help the local community throughout the pandemic, and self indulge with a spot of shopping at Northampton’s family establishments – did you know that Watts the Furnishers has been in Northampton for 124 years?
Leader of the council, Councillor Jonathan Nunn, encourages everyone to stay safe, shop local and support our independent businesses: “The last few months have been extremely challenging for all of us. However, it is vital we responsibly support our high street and ensure our town centre survives this difficult time. If you haven’t been to Northampton for a while, I would urge you to come and Rediscover our town. We have a great mix of both historic attractions, specialist independent retailers and great services. We look forward to welcoming people back.”
Rediscover Northampton has been produced by Northampton Borough Council’s “Love Northampton”, in conjunction with Northampton BID and is funded by the ERDF Reopening High Streets Safely fund.
